Jakarta Prepares For Rain This Afternoon, BMKG: Lightning Appears In Several Areas

JAKARTA - The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) predicts that most areas in DKI Jakarta will be shrouded in clouds on Monday, November 3 morning.

The cloudy weather is predicted to occur in West Jakarta, Central Jakarta, South Jakarta, East Jakarta, and North Jakarta. Meanwhile, the Thousand Islands Regency is predicted to experience light rain in the morning.

Then it is predicted that the rain will be evenly distributed to DKI Jakarta during the day. Rain accompanied by lightning is predicted to fall in West Jakarta, South Jakarta, and East Jakarta.

After that light rain occurred in Central Jakarta and North Jakarta, while the Thousand Islands Regency was shrouded in thick clouds on Monday afternoon.

The entire area in DKI Jakarta is expected to be shrouded in thick clouds in the afternoon and this condition will last until Monday night throughout the region.

Light rain is predicted to occur at 22.00 WIB in the Thousand Islands Regency and for other areas it is still shrouded in thick clouds.

Temperatures in DKI Jakarta are estimated to range from 24 to 30 degrees Celsius. BMKG also stated that wind speeds range from 1-19 kilometers (km) per hour.
