Prabowo Invites APEC Members To Help Indonesia Pursue Postponement Of The Education Sector

JAKARTA - President Prabowo Subianto, openly invites member countries of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) to help Indonesia catch up in the technology and education sectors.

The President, while speaking at the APEC Economic Leaders Meeting (AELM) of the 2nd session at the Hwabaik International Convention Center (HICO), Gyeongju, South Korea, Saturday (1/11), considered that the gap in the quality of human resources was a major challenge for Indonesia in facing technological advances and artificial intelligence (Artificial Intelligence/AI).

Presiden Prabowo menekankan bahwa langkah tersebut merupakan bagian dari strategi besar pemerintah untuk memastikan kemandirian bangsa di bidang teknologi sekaligus meningkatkan kesejahteraan rakyat.

"We have to make sure the control of technology is in our own hands, and I believe through cooperation with APEC, we can achieve that," he said.
