JAKARTA - Head of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN) Dadan Hindayana stated that the direction for making videos and content containing positive content related to the Free Nutrition Food Program (MBG) is not for excessive promotional activities.

Dadan said the directives conveyed to all Nutrition Fulfillment Service Units (SPPG) were part of public education efforts and transparency in program implementation.

"Every SPPG is required to create its own social media, and is asked to actively create content, especially reporting the minimum menu that day was published, as well as for public supervision. So, there is nothing else," said Dadan when asked for a response regarding the direction for making positive videos reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, October 29.

He emphasized that this step aims to show the openness and accountability of the implementation of the MBG program in the field.

Responding to questions related to the infrmation of agiveaway worth Rp. 5 million in content creation of MBG, Dadan emphasized that this was not BGN's official policy.

"That's not my domain, and I'm not issuing that policy," he said.

The Free Nutrition Food Program is one of the national priority programs that the government continues to develop to improve community nutrition while empowering local business actors through the ecosystem of providing healthy and nutritious foodstuffs.

Previously, BGN straightened out information regarding the issue of providing an incentive of IDR 5 million for the MBG kitchen which made the content viral.

BGN emphasized that the statement was only a joke to motivate participants to be more creative in spreading positive information about the MBG program, not official institutional policies.
