PALU - The police confiscated Rp62 million in cash and four packages of crystal methamphetamine from the raid on the house of a woman suspected of being a drug dealer in Kayumue Village, North Palu District, Palu City, Central Sulawesi, last Thursday.

During the operation, the police arrested a woman with the initials SW who was suspected of being a drug dealer.
From the suspect's hands, officers confiscated four packages of methamphetamine, Rp62 million in cash, three digital scales, two packs of plastic clips, one bag with a mini handle, and one black chain bag.
In addition, four plastic clips containing methamphetamine were also found, one brown wallet, two matches, and IDR 500 coins worth IDR 2 million.
Djoko revealed that during the arrest process, there was resistance from a number of local residents who threw Brimob tactical vehicles. However, the officers managed to control the situation without causing any casualties.
"Officers act professionally and the situation is successfully controlled," said Djoko.
He emphasized that the Central Sulawesi Regional Police continues to be committed to eradicating drug trafficking and inviting the public not to be provoked or protect narcotics criminals.
"The police regret the resistance from residents who seem to defend the perpetrators of drug abuse," he said.
