Build A Hospital Next To A Source Of Waras, Pramono Proposes To Be A National Strategic Project

JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung will propose to build a hospital on the land of the Sumber Waras Hospital, Grogol Petamburan, West Jakarta as a national strategic project (PSN). The construction of this hospital will be used as a priority project by the government.

This was revealed by Pramono after reviewing the land beside the Sumber Waras Hospital, which used to be a problem, the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) had found indications of price deviations and administrative violations by the DKI Provincial Government in purchasing the land.

"I have asked that it be revived immediately, a visibility study must be made, amdal (analytics regarding environmental impacts), and I will propose that this will be included in the National Strategic Project," Pramono said at the location, Monday, October 27.

This land has an area of 3.6 hectares. Pramono plans to build a hospital with complete facilities. Pramono has also reported the plan to build this hospital, President Prabowo Subianto, the Indonesian House of Representatives, to the DKI Jakarta DPRD and has received support.

"So that in the support, we are becoming increasingly excited to resolve this issue and we will soon build it into type A hospital," said Pramono.

Pramono's desire to build a hospital in part of the Sumber Waras Hospital has arisen because he saw that the assets were abandoned for a long time.

In fact, the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has stopped investigating allegations of corruption in the land acquisition of the Sumber Waras Hospital because there is no strong enough evidence to be brought to the investigation stage.

"As we all know, this hospital or this land used to be in December 2014, has been purchased by the DKI Jakarta government. And at that time, finally there were findings that the NJOP was considered too high, so there was a difference of almost Rp. 191 billion. 191 billion. We know that then the status of the investigation has been terminated in 2023," explained Pramono.

Pramono finally had a chance to consult with the KPK regarding the plan to utilize land that had been involved. Finally, the KPK gave the green light to the DKI Provincial Government and ensured that its use would no longer cause problems.

"Thus, the issue that began to get excited in 2014, thank God, now we have a bright spot and now we will immediately work together with the central government to build a hospital in this place," he added.
