Three Youths With Sickles Arrested By Police In Front Of Mitra Kemayoran Hospital

Three young men armed with sharp sickle types were arrested by the Central Jakarta Metro Police Precision Pioneer Patrol Team in the Sunter Kemayoran area, Central Jakarta, Sunday, October 26, 2025. From the hands of the perpetrators, the police confiscated two sickle blades and one firecracker.

Central Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Susatyo Purnomo Condro said the incident occurred in front of Mitra Keluarga Kemayoran Hospital.

After receiving the public's report, the police then moved quickly to hunt down a group of youths who were crowding.

The officers then searched the location and managed to secure three people without a fight.

Central Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Susatyo Purnomo Condro said the quick action of personnel in the field succeeded in preventing brawls that could potentially cause casualties.

"We immediately mobilized the Precision Pioneer Patrol Team and succeeded in arresting three youths carrying sharp weapons and firecrackers," said Kombes Susatyo Purnomo Condro, Sunday, October 26, 2025.

The three perpetrators are known to have the initials GSA (23), MA (25), and MFF (19).

"We have secured them at the Kemayoran Police for further investigation," he said.

The perpetrators were charged with Emergency Law Number 12 of 1951 concerning possession of sharp weapons without a permit, with a maximum prison sentence of 10 years.

The police chief appealed to all parents to be more concerned about the activities of their children.

"We will not tolerate brawls, robbery, or illegal racing. We will take firm action against any violations according to the law," he said.

The evidence confiscated from the perpetrators included two sickle blades, one firecracker, and a mobile phone that was used to coordinate with the opposing group.
