North Maluku Governor Sherly Tjoanda Laos admitted to consulting with the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) to improve the Monitoring Controlling Survey for Prevention (MCSP) score which was still considered low.
MCSP is a system used by the KPK to monitor local governance. Sherly said that her arrival at the KPK's Red and White Building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Wednesday, October 22, aims to find a solution so that the North Maluku score is no longer red.
"Yes, the goal is that I consult how to increase the MCP score because it is currently still red," Sherly told reporters.
Sherly said that her party had received a number of inputs from the Acting Director of Korsup Region V KPK, Imam Turmudhi. One of the main problems, he said, is that many documents from regional inspectorates have not been uploaded to the KPK system.
"One of them is that our active score is still low, so there are documents from the inspectorate that have not been uploaded," he said.
Sherly admitted that there are still around 300 of the total 660 documents that have not been uploaded. The document covers various public service sectors such as education, health, population and civil records, as well as licensing.
"We have discussed the problem so that everything can be uploaded on time before November 30," he said.
Meanwhile, KPK spokesman Budi Prasetyo said the meeting between the North Maluku Provincial Government and the KPK Korsup Directorate was part of assistance and supervision to prevent corrupt practices in the regions.
