Regarding bilateral relations with Kuwait, President Erdogan noted that "the cooperation that has been established between the two countries in the fields of investment, energy, trade, and defense industry is strategic and has the potential to be further developed."

He also expressed "satisfaction with Kuwait's efforts, as chairman of the current Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), to strengthen regional stability."

According to the Turkish leader, "the free trade agreement currently being negotiated between Turkey and the GCC will contribute to the development of trade relations with the Gulf countries of the brothers."
