NTB Prosecutor's Office Collaborates With Public Accountants To Audit Allegations Of Corruption In Ex-PT Gili Trawangan Indah

The West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) High Prosecutor's Office cooperates with public accountants to calculate alleged state financial losses in the corruption case of land utilization of former management of PT Gili Trawangan Indah in Gili Trawangan, North Lombok Regency.

Assistant for Special Crimes at the NTB Prosecutor's Office, Muh. Zulkifli Said said the move was taken to strengthen evidence in the investigation process which has named three suspects.

"We will soon transfer this case to court," said Zulkifli in Mataram, Antara, Tuesday, October 21.

He explained that coordination with public accountants was carried out intensively to ensure that the audit process for state losses went according to procedures.

"Fulfilling the need for audits such as documents and witness statements is now the material for coordinating prosecutor investigators with public accountants. So, we are still waiting for the results of state losses, hopefully they can be completed soon," he said.

The three suspects in this case consist of regional officials and private parties who control land for business purposes. They are the Constitutional Court, Head of UPTD Gili Tramena of the NTB Tourism Office, as well as two private parties with the initials IA and AA.

Two suspects, MK and AA, have been detained and placed in West Lombok Class IIA Prison, while he, who is a convict of a drug case, is still serving a sentence at the Mataram Class III Prison.

Sebagai langkah hukum lanjutan, Kejati NTB juga telah memasang plang pengamanan bidang tanah pada dua lokasi usaha milik IA dan AA di dalam area objek perkara seluas 65 hektare di Gili Trawangan.

As a further legal step, the NTB Prosecutor's Office has also installed land parcel security signs at two business locations belonging to IA and AA in the 65 hectare case object area in Gili Trawangan.
