JAKARTA PT Transjakarta adjusted services and diverted routes for a number of fleets on Monday, October 20 due to an action of expressing opinions in the Horse Statue area, Central Jakarta. Adjustments took effect from 14.44 WIB.

Head of the Transjakarta Public Relations and CSR Department, Ayu Wardhani, said the route was engineered to cover the area around Monas and City Hall. Given, this action had an impact on closing the road from the Horse Statue direction to DKI Jakarta City Hall since noon.

"We apologize profusely for the inconvenience caused by this service adjustment. We are committed to continuing to provide the best service for customer mobility," Ayu said in a statement, Monday, October 20.

The Non-BRT 1A route which usually serves the Maju Beach route City Hall is now shortened only to Monas. With this change, buses no longer serve City Hall and City Hall Bus Stops.

Meanwhile, Corridor 2 with the Pulogadung Monas route also experienced a diversion towards Pulogadung. After crossing the Monas Bus Stop, the bus is directed through the Kebon Sirih traffic light, then turns left. As a result, the City Hall and Gambir 2 Bus Stop for the Pulogadung direction is not served.

A similar change occurred on Route 2A (Pulogadung Rawa Buaya). For the direction towards Pulogadung, the bus after passing Monas was straightened towards Kebon Sirih through the red light of the Horse Statue, then turned left and continued its journey. The City Hall and Gambir 2 bus stop in this direction is also not temporarily served.

The Non-BRT 1P route that serves the Senen Blok M route is also affected by the closure of access to IRTI Monas. The alternative route taken by the bus starts from Blok M to Bus Stop Monas 3, then goes straight to the red light of the Horse Statue, turns left at TL Bank Indonesia, crosses Jalan Kebon Sirih, then turns left at TL Tugu Tani to Bus Stop Telkom and Bus Stop Gambir, before proceeding to Terminal Senen. With this scheme, Bus Stop IRTI Monas and Gambir 2 are not operational temporarily.

In addition, two other main routes, namely 6A and 6B with the Ragunan route City Hall, also experienced adjustments. Both are directed to rotate around the Monas area without serving the City Hall Bus Stop.

"Restrictions are advised to adjust your travel time and plan," said Ayu.
