A Year Of Prabowo-Gibran, Commission III Of The DPR Praises The Stability And Reform Of Law Enforcement

JAKARTA Member of Commission III DPR RI Abdullah, assessed that one year of President Prabowo Subianto's leadership showed significant achievements in the field of security and law enforcement. He considered that the government under Prabowo's control had succeeded in creating national security stability while strengthening the commitment to eradicating corruption.

According to him, President Prabowo's strategic steps in maintaining national security have proven effective, especially when facing a large wave of demonstrations at the end of last August.

In addition to success in the security sector, Abdullah also highlighted the government's commitment to eradicating corruption. He considered that under the direction of the President, law enforcement agencies such as the Attorney General's Office and the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) showed stronger and more measured performance.

"We see that the Attorney General's Office has succeeded in resolving various major cases, including corruption cases in the oil and gas sector, namely the Pertamina case, then the procurement of Chromebook laptops in educational circles, as well as a number of other strategic cases involving the value of state losses of trillions of rupiah," Abdullah explained.

Meanwhile, said Abduh, the KPK also continues to show its progress through the handling of a number of major cases, one of which is related to allegations of corruption in the hajj quota which is currently in the public spotlight.

"These steps emphasize that President Prabowo is consistent in his commitment to strengthening clean and corruption-free governance," he added.

Abdullah emphasized that Commission III of the DPR RI will continue to provide support for the government's efforts to maintain national security and uphold the rule of law.

"Commission III is committed to overseeing policies in the fields of law, human rights and security so that they continue to side with the interests of the people and the state," he said.
