PKS Will Visit The Ministry Of Defense Office, Defense Minister Sjafrie: We Are Open Minded

Minister of Defense (Menhan) Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin said the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) would visit the Ministry of Defense (Kemenhan) office, Friday, October 17, after a visit from the National Democratic Party (NasDem).

"This is the people's office, the people's office which is sovereign but in the field of stability," Sjafrie said in a press conference after receiving a visit from the General Chairperson of the NasDem Party in Jakarta, Wednesday, which was confiscated by Antara.

He explained that the visit of political parties to the Ministry of Defense was in line with the duties of the Ministry of Defense in two dimensions, namely national defense and state sovereignty.

In state sovereignty, he said, all elements of the nation are bound in it, including political parties.

Thus, in the context of national stability and maintaining state sovereignty, Sjafrie said that the acceptance of political party visits is not only the affairs of the Coordinating Ministry for Political and Security Affairs (Kemenko Polkam).

"The Coordinating Ministry for Political, Legal and Security Affairs is structural and substantial," he said.

On the other hand, the Minister of Defense said that the Ministry of Defense office is also the office of the National Defense Council (DPN), where President Prabowo Subianto is also based.

Therefore, it was emphasized that the Ministry of Defense office belongs to the Indonesian people who are assigned to the government to protect land and spill blood, so that all parties, including political parties, must be in one solidity.

"God willing, other parties will visit this week. I think we are all open-minded that this office belongs to the nation and we all only serve the nation and state," said Mehan.

When receiving a visit from the Head of NasDem Surya Paloh, Sjafrie said that he received various informal inputs but was full of nationalism and patriotism commitments.

According to him, the various inputs given by Paloh have helped him in his duties as a national policy maker for stability.

For this reason, he thanked Paloh for the advice given as vitamins for stamina in facing various challenges and tasks to come.
