DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung said the DKI Provincial Government would fix the management of private vehicle parking at the Ragunan Wildlife Park (TMR).

Parking arrangement, according to him, needs to be done considering that the zoo in southern Jakarta will be revitalized to be more modern. Meanwhile, Pramono admits that the flow in and out of the car and parking arrangements in Ragunan are still chaotic.

"I am currently preparing for the arrangement of parking at Ragunan later in stages. Now one of the main problems in Ragunan is parking," said Pramono at DKI Jakarta City Hall, Friday, October 10.

Pramono also announced that Ragunan's operations will be open at night starting Saturday, October 11. Every week, Ragunan opens on Saturdays from 18.00 to 22.00 WIB.

Pramono said, in the opening of a zoo managed by the DKI Provincial Government tonight, people could use it to exercise.

However, Pramono advised the public to maintain the safety and comfort of visitors to each other. Thus, he prohibited all types of criminal and immoral activities during the opening of Ragunan at night.

"In the past, every time I opened a park, including five parks in Jakarta, everyone was worried that it would happen. Even in Ragunan we will arrange the same thing with CCTV and so on," explained Pramono.

"Sekarang sebenarnya sudah disiapkan. Dan kalau itu terjadi maka kami tentu akan mengambil langkah tegas. Karena kami ingin Jakarta ini semakin banyak tempat yang bisa dinikmati oleh masyarakat," tambahnya.

In Ragunan's opening at night, there is also a tour service with the "Night at The Ragunan Zoo" program. Visitors who want to go around seeing nocturnal animals are required to use e-car services that are rented for IDR 250,000 per hour with a capacity of five people.

Later, visitors will be invited to tour several designated nocturnal animal cages. At that location, there will be attractions for feeding animals and education by zookeepers with different schedules every week.

"For people who want to see animals, they are not allowed to use private vehicles. They must use a shuttle bus or car prepared by Ragunan," added Pramono.
