Jakarta Harvests IDR 140 Trillion Investment, Year-End Target Of IDR 160 Trillion

JAKARTA - The Provincial Government (Pemprov) of DKI Jakarta recorded that Jakarta's total investment realization reached Rp140 trillion in the first half of 2025 or grew significantly compared to the same period in 2024, which amounted to Rp133.35 trillion.

"For the first to second quarter, it will reach Rp140 trillion and will increase again. Our target is around Rp160 trillion by the end of the year," said Deputy Head of the DKI Jakarta Province Investment and One Stop Integrated Service (PMPTSP), Muhammad Herizkianto, Thursday, October 10.

The DKI Provincial Government continues to open up opportunities for investment from within and outside the country, one of which is through the Jakarta Investment Festival (JIF) 2025 with a total project value offered of IDR 403.9 trillion or approximately equivalent to 26.9 million US dollars.

A number of projects that are considered potential include the property sector, multipurpose areas (mix-used), sports infrastructure, transit-oriented development (TOD), transportation, clean water, creative hubs, wastewater, urban or urban development.

Herizkianto said, through JIF 2025, the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government, which acts as a facilitator, tried to see investment opportunities that would enter Jakarta.

On that occasion, Deputy Governor of Bank Indonesia (BI) Ricky Perdana Gozali hoped that JIF 2025 could become a strategic platform for Jakarta to encourage cross-sectoral collaboration and promote economic investment potential.

"This innovation and initiative is expected to produce positive enthusiasm between domestic and international investors by strengthening Jakarta's competitiveness as a global investment destination," he said.

JIF 2025 carries the theme "Jakarta The Epicentrum of ASEAN: Invest SMART for a Global Start", encouraging investors with BUMD Jakarta to collaborate to make Jakarta a global city by 2030.

A number of activities were held in the 2025 JIF series such as workshops, seminars, project results demonstrations, to business meetings, and the peak of events took place today.
