Electronic Ticket Explosion: 8.3 Million ETLE Recorded Cases As Of September 2025

JAKARTA - The National Police recorded a significant increase in prosecution through ETLE. In the January 'August 2025 period, the number of violations caught on ETLE cameras was 1,710,918 cases. Meanwhile, in January 'September 2025 the number rose to 8,335,692 violations.

"From January to September there was a very extraordinary increase in ETLE's performance. So, there was an increase of 387 percent," said Head of Korlantas Polri Inspector General Agus Suryonugroho at a press conference at the Korlantas Polri building, South Jakarta, quoted from Antara, Thursday 9 October.

The increase also affected the number of violations that were validated and confirmed.

Validated violations are the process of filtering images of traffic violations that have been photographed by ETLE cameras. The filtering results are then analyzed to ensure existing violations.

Meanwhile, the confirmed violations were violators who had received digital confirmation letters or through couriers and confirmed that it was a violation.

Agus said that in the January 'August 2025 period, the number of validized violations was 582,994. This number increased to 2,297,887 violations in the January'September 2025 period.

"So, there is an increase for validation that is 294 percent. This is an extraordinary achievement," he said.

Meanwhile, there were 70,123 confirmed violations during the January 'August 2025 period, Korlantas Polri recorded 70,123. As for the January period' September 2025, this number increased to 480,844.

"There is an increase of 586 percent. This is the highest achievement during the revitalization and acceleration of ETLE which has been evaluated comprehensively," said Agus.

The increase in the number of law enforcement also affects the fines paid.

The number of fines paid from the two periods jumped very high, at 1,645 percent.

"From 22,480 to 392,214. This will affect non-tax state revenue (PNBP)," said Agus.

Kakorlantas mengatakan capaian ini tidak terlepas dari penegakan hukum oleh Korlantas yang 95 persen sudah menggunakan sistem digital.

"Almost all ranks use the ETLE performance mechanism to be digital, both capture, both validation, good shipping, including Briva (payment of fines), it already uses digital. Only one regional police, namely Southwest Papua, we will build it there," he said.
