Considered A Legal Defect, PPP Kubu Agus Suparmanto Rejects The Decree Of The Minister Of Law And Human Rights Of The Management Of Ketum Mardiono

JAKARTA - The United Development Party (PPP) for the General Chairperson Agus Suparmanto stated that he rejected the Decree (SK) of the Minister of Law which ratified the management of the PP Mardiono camp.

Kubu Agus assessed that the Decree of the Minister of Law and Human Rights on the management of PPP with General Chair Mardiono was legally flawed for ignoring all the facts that occurred at the X PPP Congress which was held in Jakarta on Monday, October 29.

The rejection of the PPP for the Agus Suparmanto camp was conveyed by the former chairman of the PPP Advisory Council, Romahurmuziy when confirmed by VOI on Thursday, October 2.

"In connection with the issuance of the Decree of the Minister of Law and Human Rights of the Republic of Indonesia regarding the management of PPP which appointed Mardiono as General Chair and Imam Fauzan Amir Uskara as Secretary General, which was conveyed by the Indonesian Minister of Law and Human Rights today (October 2, 2025) in the media, we hereby convey that we together with all congress and PPP cadres throughout Indonesia reject the Decree of the Indonesian Minister of Law and Human Rights," said Romy.

Romy emphasized that the Minister of Law and Human Rights Decree signed by the Minister of Law Supratman Andi Agtas was legally flawed because it did not pass the 8 points required by the Indonesian Ministry of Law and Human Rights Number 34/2017.

He said that Mardiono's management decree submission did not get the requirements for 6 points of Permenkumham 34/2017, namely: "The Certificate of Information is not in the Internal Dispute of Political Parties from the Political Party Court".

"We have confirmed to the Party Court which is led by Mr. Irfan Pulungan, that they did not issue a letter for Mardiono's management," said Romy.

Romy said the Indonesian Minister of Law and Human Rights Decree ignored all the facts that occurred at the X PPP Congress which was held in Ancol-Jakarta, on 27-29 September 2025.

Where when the Ketum election began on Monday, October 29, the PPP X Congress was chaotic because it did not want Mardiono to return as Ketum to require the results of the acclamation to be announced in a hotel room.

"That there has never been an acclamation for Mardiono. What is there is an acclamation claim by the Chairperson of the Session, Amir Uskara in the midst of rain interuption rejection from the floor, which resulted in Amir's escape from the trial arena," Romy explained.

"That, when the head of the Plenary Session summoned Mardiono to attend the trial arena, he was not present even after being called many times," continued the former PPP chairman.

According to Romy, Mardiono's claim to have been elected violated the entire process of implementing the PPP X Congress, as stipulated in the Schedule of the Congress and the Order of the Congress. Because the truth, said Romy, carrying out the entire congress process constitutionally was the congress which decided Agus Suparmanto as General Chair.

Therefore, Romy said that the Indonesian Menkum Decree for the management of the Mardiono chairman contradicted the results of the 8 Sep 2025 Alim Ulama National Gathering at the KHAS Kempek Islamic Boarding School, Cirebon, West Java, which stated that all PPP scholars throughout Indonesia rejected Mardiono to continue his leadership at the 2025 PPP X Congress.

"Therefore, we will take political steps, administrative steps, and lawsuits if necessary for the Minister of Law and Human Rights to cancel the decree," said Romy.

Romy said that the elected General Chairperson and Secretary General of PPP today, Thursday, October 2, had also sent an audience application letter and an objection letter to the Indonesian Minister of Law and Human Rights regarding the issuance of the decree.
