Pramono Guarantees Documents For Residents Affected By The Taman Sari Fire To Be Reissued

DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung ensured that the DKI Provincial Government would re-issue population documents including land documents and buildings belonging to residents affected by the fire in Tank Village, Taman Sari, West Jakarta.

Pramono revealed that the majority of residents affected by this fire had participated in the Agrarian National Operations Program (Prona) which has now become a Complete Systematic Land Registration program (PTSL).

"Some of the houses here are HGB, SHM, which they used to participate in the Prona program in 2018. Because this is the program for the Prona program first, both HGB and the SHM, I will definitely ask them to be accompanied for their correspondence. There is everything for sure," said Pramono after reviewing the location of the fire, Tuesday, September 30.

Pramono guarantees that the DKI Provincial Government will still store data on land and building certificate documents for residents of Tank Village who were also burned down. Thus, the document is ready to be re-published.

Moreover, the former Secretary of the Kaninet saw that residents still wanted to stay in the area affected by the fire when it was later restored. Apart from having lived for a long time, the majority of them also have complete land documents.

"So this area is different from other areas. There are no documents that have been burned so far. Most of them have letters here. There used to be a Prona program in 2018. So surely they will ask to stay here," explained Pramono.

Pramono has ordered the DKI Jakarta Social Service to record the affected families. Public infrastructure and facilities handling officers (PPSU) are also still cleaning up the debris left over from the fire.

The DKI Provincial Government has distributed aid in the form of food such as rice, instant noodles, canned fish, biscuits, ready-to-eat food. Then, clothing assistance was also provided such as clothes, blankets, towels, kidsware, diapers. Refugees also get mattresses and folding mattresses.

Pramono admitted that the refugees had a shortage of baby diapers, but now it has been fulfilled. "So for the affected toddlers, I have communicated earlier. Now, if it's there now, yes. If it wasn't there yesterday. For toddlers and so on, the most important complaints are pampers, diapers, and so on," he said.

For information, the fire in Tank Village, Taman Sari occurred on Sunday, September 28 at around 10:00 WIB. A total of 24 units of the DKI Jakarta Fire and Rescue Service (Gulkarmat) and several other units were deployed to extinguish the fire.

After more than 12 hours, the fire was completely extinguished at 22.50 WIB. Allegedly, the fire in settlements with some semi-permanent buildings occurred due to an electrical short circuit.

The fire hit RT 002 and RT 003 in RW 003, then RT 003, 004, 005, 006, 007, 008, and 009 in RW 006, Tank Village. Estimated losses reached Rp28.31 billion.

The total number of residents affected by the fire was 316 families or 1,256 people. Of these, six people suffered minor injuries in the form of shortness of breath, fainting, and lacerations. All victims have received medical assistance.

The number of residents who fled to the Al-Muhajirin Mosque was 21 families (49 people) and in the Tank Village Office with 44 families (176 people). Meanwhile, as many as 200 families (800 people) chose to stay at relatives and neighbors' homes.
