Saudi Arabian Prince: Gulf Security Threatened By Paria Countries That Do Not Respect The Law

JAKARTA - Turkish Prince Al-Faisal, son of the late King of Saudi Arabia Faisal bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and grandson of the country's founder King Abdulaziz bin Abdul Rahman Al Saud, warned on Sunday that the security of Gulf countries was threatened by "the pariah state", following Israel's recent attack on Qatar.

The Turkish prince described Israeli aggression on September 9, when targeting Hamas leaders in Doha as they discussed a ceasefire agreement that would end Israel's war in Gaza, as "traisal."

He also called on Gulf countries to reconsider their approach to security as a result.

"The Gulf is currently a witness to the aggressive and dangerous attacks by Israel on Qatar sovereignty. This attack is a reminder to all countries in the Gulf that their shared security is threatened by a pariah country that does not respect any laws or regulations governing international relations," he said at an event at Cultural Palace in the Riyadh Diplomatic Zone on Sunday. , reported Arab News September 29.

"This attack opens our eyes to question the credibility and reliability of the alliance when threats come from Israel. This encourages our countries to rethink the nature of threats and rebuild their strategic policies to maintain their security by all means in dealing with these threats. Israel should not be left free," added the former Saudi Arabian Ambassador to the United States and Britain.

The Turkish Prince further discussed the Israeli-Palestinian peace process and the role of the international community, particularly the United States.

"I believe there is no area in our world that feels the impact of international uncertainty greater than the Middle East region," explained the former Head of Al Mukhabarat Al A'amah - Saudi Arabia's intelligence agency -.

It is said, who is to blame for this ongoing situation is still an open question. However, even though countries and regional leaders take responsibility, the US bears the largest part of this responsibility.

"We see the US declining from an honest intermediary role as Israel's loyal ally. The US-practically practiced double standards in dealing with Israel's occupation of Palestine and the recent genocide war in Gaza and the West Bank are clearly witnessed not only by the Arabs but also by all people around the world," he explained.

On the same occasion, he said he welcomed the progress of the realization of the Two-State Solution, along with the diplomatic push of Saudi Arabia and France which resulted in the recognition of the Palestinian State by a number of countries, including Britain, France, Australia, Belgium to Portugal, in the UN General Assembly which ended last week, overscoring Israel's accusations and its supporters. .

"Among the many parables facing the Kingdom, France, and all countries that recognize Palestine as a country, is that this is a gift to Hamas. It is a deceptionful and heinous statement that denies the human rights of the Palestinian people to their own country," he said.

"Israeli colonial occupation for 80 years in Palestine and the expansion of the right of the Palestinian people to determine their own destiny will benefit Hamas and other similar groups. Without occupation, there would be no resistance against it," he stressed.
