Police Transfer, Inspector General Viktor T Sihombing Babel Police Chief, Inspector General Endi Sutendi Becomes Central Sulawesi Police Chief

JAKARTA - National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo rotated and transferred a number of its members at the Kapolda level, one of whom was the Bangka Belitung Islands Police Chief and Central Sulawesi (Central Sulawesi).

The mutation and rotation of positions are contained in the Secret Telegram Letter number ST/2192/IX/KEP./2025 dated September 24, 2025.

In the STR, the Head of the Bangka Belitung Islands Police, held by Inspector General Hendro Pandowo, was replaced by Inspector General Viktor T. Sihombing.

However, the placement of Inspector General Hendro Pandowo was not written after being transferred from the position of the Bangka Belitung Islands Police Chief.

Then, Inspector General Endi Sutendi was appointed as the Central Sulawesi Police Chief to replace Inspector General Agus Nugroho who was transferred as Head of the Police Legal Division (Kadivkum).

There is also the name of Inspector General Djuhandhani Rahardjo Puro who previously served as Director of General Crimes at Bareskrim Polri who was appointed as South Sulawesi Police Chief replacing Inspector General Rusdi Hartono who was transferred as Pati Bareskrim Polri.

Then, Inspector General Helfi Assegaf, who previously served as Director of Special Economic Crimes at the National Police Criminal Investigation Agency, was appointed as Lampung Police Chief to replace Inspector General Helmy Santika.

Karo Penmas, Police Public Relations Division, Brigadier General Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko, said that this mutation is part of the dynamics of the organization in the context of refreshment, career development, and optimizing institutional performance.

"The mutation and rotation of this position are dynamic in the National Police. This is part of the career development process and strengthens the organization to answer the challenges of contemporary tasks and in the future it will continue to develop to provide protection and services and realize Kamtibmas," Trunoyudo said in his statement, Friday, September 26.

In addition, in the two mutational and rotational STRs there were 60 Polri personnel who filled the new position.

Trunoyudo stated that the entire mutation process had gone through careful consideration and analysis of organizational needs.

"The National Police always develops personnel and according to organizational needs, this mutation is not only as a refresher, but also part of organizational transformation, operational, service and supervision to create a precise Police," said Trunoyudo.
