JAKARTA - The Criminal Investigation Unit of the Penjaringan Metro Police conducted a search for the parents of the AR victim (8) who were found dead covered in blood in the boarding room.

"We have searched for the identity of the parents of this corpse, the identity of his parents initials S (44) and his mother MKR (35)," said Metro Penjaringan Police Chief, AKBP Agus Ady Wijaya to reporters, Monday, September 22, 2025.

In addition, the police also examined 5 witnesses related to the incident.

"We have also taken information on the witnesses of five people in the boarding houses," he said.

Just so you know, the location where the victim was found dead was an indecost with a 3rd floor. Meanwhile, the witnesses who were examined were on the first and second floors.

"We did an examination and a provisional statement was taken. We have also taken CCTV," he said.

When the crime scene was finished, the police then installed a police line at the scene.

"Installation of the police line because we don't want anything to be lost or damaged from the initial crime scene, there may still be evidence. Because we are still looking for evidence and matters related to the incident at the crime scene," he said.

Previously, continued the police chief, the TKP processing team had also secured some items suspected of being related to the case.

"It has been secured by the identification team by the North Jakarta Metro Police," he said.

Previously, it was reported that a girl with the initials AR (8) was found dead in a boarding room in the Penjaringan area, North Jakarta, Sunday, September 21, 2025.

The victim was found in a condition that his body had emitted an unpleasant odor. The victim was found supine and covered in blood behind his back.
