Ahmad Dofiri Presents At The Palace In The Middle Of Cabinet Reshuffle Issues

JAKARTA - Commissioner General (Ret.) Ahmad Dofiri and his wife were present at the Jakarta Presidential Palace on Wednesday afternoon, amid the issue of reshuffle or reshuffle of the 3rd volume of the Red and White Cabinet.

Dofiri, wearing the police ceremony service uniform, arrived at around 12.30 WIB with his wife wearing a karem kebaya and dark brown batik cloth. The two of them walked towards the State Palace in the pouring rain that flushed the Central Jakarta area.

While crossing the Palace pillar area, Dofiri had time to reply to the greeting of the journalists who were waiting. However, when asked if his arrival was related to the inauguration of a new official, Dofiri just smiled without giving an answer.

Information circulating among journalists said Ahmad Dofiri would be inaugurated by President Prabowo Subianto as the Presidential Special Staff.

The inauguration reportedly took place in conjunction with the inauguration of ministers and other deputy ministers, including Lieutenant General TNI (Ret.) Djamari Chaniago as Coordinating Minister for Political and Security Affairs, Erick Thohir as Minister of Youth and Sports, and Angga Raka Prabowo as Head of the Presidential Communication Office (PCO).

However, until this news was revealed, the Palace and the officials mentioned had not provided official information or confirmation regarding the rumors.

Other information circulating among journalists said the inauguration ceremony was scheduled for 14.00 WIB at the State Palace, starting with a clean rehearsal at 13.00 WIB.

President Prabowo last reshuffled his cabinet on September 8, 2025. In the 2nd reshuffle of the volume, a number of new officials were appointed, including Purbaya Yudhi Sadive as Minister of Finance, Mukhtarudin as Minister of Protection for Indonesian Migrant Workers (P2MI)/Head of BP2MI, Ferry Joko Juliantono as Minister of Cooperatives, Mochamad Irfan Yusuf Hasyim as Minister of Hajj and Umrah, as well as Dahnil Anzar Simanjuntak as Deputy Minister of Hajj and Umrah. The position of Minister of Hajj and Umrah is a new structure result of the transformation of the Hajj Organizing Body.
