Reveals The Motive For The Death Of An MTS Student In Ciracas, Police Check Victim's Cellphone

The Cipayung Police will check the cellphones of MTS students who were found dead on the 2nd floor of their house.

"We will open his cellphone, what's in it, to reveal the motive. The result (the cellphone examination) has not yet been investigated. God willing, it will be completed in 40 days because (currently) he is still grieving," said Cipayung Police Criminal Investigation Unit Head, Iptu Edi Handoko when confirmed, Tuesday, September 16, 2025.

In handling this case, the police prioritized empathy because the families of the victims were still grieving.

"God willing, it will be completed in 40 days, because it is still grieving. I'm afraid it will be examined, we must have empathy," he said.

Currently, it is the temporary witness who has been examined by the mother, father, grandfather, grandmother and the person who dropped the victim's body.

"Yesterday there came from the teacher, (the victim behaved) normally like ordinary students. Not yet (motive bullying). Later we will call (the victim's friend), (to what extent) the closeness (victim) and who is at school. Then whose friend (victim)," he said.

Meanwhile, the East Jakarta Metro Police PPA Unit has not conducted an examination of the families of MTS students regarding the student's death case.

"His brother doesn't want to come to the Resort Police yet. He doesn't know (the motive) yet," said Head of PPA of the East Jakarta Metro Police, AKP Sri Yatmini when confirmed by VOI, Tuesday, September 16, 2025.
