MTS Student Suspected Of Bullying Victim Found Dead Hanging Himself In Ciracas

JAKARTA - A 7th MTS grade student was found dead by hanging himself in the Cipayung area, East Jakarta, Monday, September 15, 2025.

According to information gathered, the incident was discovered on Monday afternoon at around 17.00 WIB. The discovery of the victim who died began when the victim's grandfather came to meet the victim.

But upon arrival at the victim's house, the grandfather was surprised to see his grandson's body was already hanging in his house.

The victim's grandfather was hysterical. He tried to call local residents for evacuation. Then the residents continued reporting to the Cipayung Police.

Police officers who received the report immediately went to the scene and conducted a temporary crime scene investigation. The victim's body was then taken to the Kramat Jati Police Hospital for a post-mortem.

According to information gathered, the victim is suspected of being a victim of bullying at his school. However, the police have not disclosed the motive for the victim's death.

Cipayung Police Chief Kompol Saut Parulian Tobing confirmed that the case is still under investigation by a joint team from the Polsek and PPA Unit of the East Jakarta Metro Police.

"We are still investigating the matter. For the handling of the case, the police who handle it are backed up by the PPA Polres," he said when confirmed by VOI, Tuesday, September 16, 2025, morning.
