The raid on the headquarters of a robbery gang in the South Utan Kayu area, Matraman District, East Jakarta was successfully carried out after the police tracked the stolen motorbike.

"He was found out because there was a motorbike that was lost in the GPS," said Head of RW 04 Utan Kayu Selatan Village, Imam to reporters, Friday, September 12, 2025.

Imam explained that after the police managed to find the location of the motorbike, they immediately carried out a raid.

"After being traced, the point is here. It was revealed that it ended up being a raid," he said.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Ranmor Unit of the East Jakarta Metro Police, AKP M. Zein, said that his party confiscated evidence of homemade firearms from the scene of the incident belonging to 5 perpetrators.

"There are 4 homemade firearms that have been secured from a theft syndicate in RT 05/04. They are still under development," he said.
