Ketum SOKSI Soal Isu Puteri Komarudin Bakal Jabat Menpora: Kami Proud Kalau Jadi Pilihan Presiden

JAKARTA - The General Chairperson of the Central Depinas of the Indonesian Self-Employment Organization (SOKSI) of the Golkar Party, Mukhamad Misbakhun, responded to reports about his cadres who were said to be filling the position of Minister of Youth and Sports (Menpora) after the cabinet reshuffle.

Misbakhun emphasized that the appointment of ministers is entirely President Prabowo Subianto's prerogative. However, according to him, it would be a matter of pride for SOKSI if Putri Komarudin was elected as Menpora.

"We are proud that it is indeed the President's choice. We are fully aware that the position in the cabinet is entirely the prerogative of the President. If there are SOKSI cadres who are elected, it will be a matter of pride, an extraordinary pride for us," said Misbakhun to reporters at the Golkar DPP, West Jakarta, Friday, September 12.

"And of course if that happens, hopefully it will be a blessing in itself for SOKSI," he continued.

Misbakhun also believes that President Prabowo will appoint a person who has the capacity to help run the government in the Red and White Cabinet. According to him, Puteri will be ready if the President will appoint Dito Ariotedjo as Menpora.

"So if I think it's ethical, don't ask the person concerned. Because of this, it is the President's right," he said.

"I am sure that if the President appoints him as a good citizen, as a good cadre, a SOKSI cadre, I am sure that Mrs. Puteri will be ready. We fully leave it to the President," he added.
