Tomorrow World Muslim Scout Jamboree 2025 In Buperta Cibubur, Police Form Security Scenario

JAKARTA - Polda Metro Jaya has prepared security for the "World Muslim Scout Jamboree (WMSJ) 2025" activity which will be held at the Campground and Graha Wisata (Buperta) Cibubur.

The activity will be attended by participants from various countries which will take place from 9-14 September 2025.

Head of the Operations Section (Kabagops) of the Traffic Directorate (Ditlantas) Polda Metro Jaya Kompol Robby Hefadus said his party would coordinate with the Depok Metro Police regarding the security.

"The plan is to bring in participants from various countries. We will coordinate with the Depok Metro Police. We have directed to create a security scenario," Robby said in Jakarta, Monday, which was confiscated by Antara.

Traffic regulation, said Robby, was focused in the morning and evening, when residents left and came home from work.

"We convey to the Depok Satlantas that traffic flow is carried out in the morning and evening, especially when people leave for work or activities and in the afternoon when they return home from activities in the city to avoid congestion," he said.

However, Robby ensured that there was no traffic engineering (traffic) because it was a route that residents could use to get in and out of Jakarta.

"There is no traffic engineering so far because it is the main way for people to go home and go to Jakarta," he said.

Robby also appealed to the public to be careful when crossing the Cibubur area during the event.

"Imbauan kepada masyarakat agar berhati-hati karena di jalan tersebut terjadi kepadatan," katanya.
