Commission III Of The House Of Representatives Receives List Of Candidates For Supreme Court Justices From The Judicial Commission

JAKARTA - Commission III of the DPR RI received a list of the names of candidates for Supreme Court Justices from the Judicial Commission (KY) as the Selection Committee (Pansel) of Supreme Court Judges (MA) for a fit and proper test.

"KY has been conducting surveillance for a long time, knowing that superior seeds should know anywhere," said Chairman of Commission III of the Indonesian House of Representatives Habiburokhman during a meeting with KY at the parliament complex, Jakarta, Monday, September 8.

The names to be tested consist of candidates for Supreme Court Justices of the Criminal Chamber, Supreme Court Justices of the Civil Chamber, Supreme Court Justices of the Military Chamber, Supreme Court Justices of the State Ad hoc HAM.

Meanwhile, KY as the selection committee has held selection and selection for candidates for Supreme Court Justices since the Chief Justice sent a letter on February 17, 2025. In the process, the selection consists of several tests, ranging from administrative selection, quality, personality, open interviews, to medical and psychological tests.

KY chairman Amzulian Rifai said the selection involved a number of other state institutions and institutions, ranging from the KPK, PPATK, Komnas HAM, Ministry of Finance, NGOs, to Army Central Hospitals.

"So that the next stage of submitting to the DPR RI is Commission III of the DPR regarding the results of the selection," said Amzulian.

After that, Commission III of the DPR RI also scheduled a meeting with the candidates to prepare for the pre-feasibility test, namely by taking serial numbers and making papers that will be presented.

The following are the names of candidates for Supreme Court justices to be processed by Commission III of the DPR RI, along with their original positions:
