Minister of Religion Nasaruddin Umar provided assistance of Rp. 100 million to build a mushalla and assistance of Rp. 50 million to rebuild the collapsed taklim assembly during the commemoration of the Prophet Muhammad SWA's birthday, Sunday, September 7.
"We convey assistance for development. Hopefully, the prayer room and the taklim assembly can be rebuilt to be used for community worship activities," said the Minister of Religion, quoted by ANTARA, Monday, September 8.
The Taklim Ashobiyyah Council is located in Sukamakmur Village, Ciomas District, Bogor Regency, West Java.
This building was only completed about a month ago. The bottom is used for prayer rooms, while the top is for the taklim assembly.
This building collapsed at around 09.30 WIB, when the congregation used it to attend the recitation. The building pole was destroyed so that the building of the taklim assembly above collapsed and destroyed.
After receiving this information, the Minister of Religion then visited the victim at the Indonesian Red Cross Hospital (PMI) and the Bogor Regency Regional General Hospital (RSUD).
When the Grand Imam of the Istiqlal Mosque visited, there were 21 people being treated at PMI Bogor and 38 others were being treated at the Bogor City Hospital.
"There are pilgrims who have died. We pray that all husnul khatimah and die in a state of martyrdom. They die while studying and commemorating Maulid, treating their longing for the Prophet. We pray that in the future they will get benefits from the Prophet Muhammad," said the Minister of Religion.
