BOGOR - Military District Command (Kodim) 0606 Bogor City has officially changed leadership. Colonel Kav Gan Gan Rusgandara was appointed to replace Colonel Inf Dwi Agung Sutrisno, who has been leading for almost a year.

The handover of the position took place on Saturday, September 6, through a goodbye event attended by Bogor Mayor Dedie Rachim and the ranks of the Regional Leadership Communication Forum (Forkopimda).

Colonel Gan Gan previously served as Dansatlat at the TNI Peace Maintenance Mission Center (PMPP TNI). He is expected to be able to strengthen the synergy between the TNI and local governments in facing various challenges in Bogor.

Meanwhile, Colonel Dwi Agung conveyed a short message to his successor. "The leadership relay must continue. I am quite impressed with the city of Bogor," he said.

On the same occasion, Mayor Dedie emphasized that a number of problems were still a challenge in Bogor, ranging from thuggery, narcotics, student brawls, to other poverty and social issues.

"This requires cross-sectoral cooperation, including the active role of the Kodim to maintain regional stability and conduciveness, moreover we want to open space for investment and employment," said Dedie.

Dedie also highlighted the priority program of the Bogor City Government, namely Free Nutrition Food (MBG) for students. Currently, 25 public kitchens have been operating, serving around 3,000 students per point. However, from the target of 82 kitchens by 2027, only a quarter is running.

"There are still many points that are not yet active. This must be pursued. Several locations are ready, it's just a matter of accelerating the implementation," he explained.

He added that the role of the TNI through Kodim 0606 is very important to support this target. "If there are points that cannot be carried out by the government, they can be collaborated with a credible foundation or institution. We must be flexible but still measurable," said Dedie.
