YOGYAKARTA - The Ministry of Law (Kemenkum) of the Special Region of Yogyakarta (DIY) developed a web-based application to monitor and evaluate legal counseling activities at the village level.

Head of the Regional Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights of DIY Agung Rektono Seto in his statement in Yogyakarta, Saturday, said the application called "Kalandra" was developed to support the establishment of Kalurahan/Kelurahan Aware of Law in DIY.

"Through Kalandra, every legal counseling activity can be monitored and evaluated more easily," he said.

According to Agung, Kalandra, which stands for the Kalurahan/Kelurahan Application, Anubhawa Special Region of Yogyakarta, can be accessed through the kandra.kemenkumjogja.id page.

Through this application, Agung said that local governments, sub-district officials, and the public allow access to information on the achievements of legal counseling.

In addition, the progress of legal guidance in each village and village can be seen transparently as well as being the basis for assessing the level of legal awareness.

"Through Kalandra, we present transparency, efficiency, and accountability in legal guidance at the village and sub-district levels," he said.

Agung hopes that technology-based monitoring will not only accelerate the process of determining Kalurahan/Kelurahan Awareness of the Law, but also increase community participation in understanding and implementing legal regulations in their environment.
