JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta DPRD received an audience for a group of mass demonstrations on behalf of the Social Democracy Concerned Student Alliance in front of its office.

Responding to this, Deputy Chairman of the DKI Jakarta DPRD Basri Baco admitted that members of the council from all factions agreed to comply with the demands.
"We are ready to evaluate the housing allowance according to the current conditions and situation and in accordance with applicable regulations," said Baco at the DKI Jakarta DPRD building, Thursday, September 4.

"We really appreciate that we are representatives of the people elected by the people who should accept the aspirations of the people," Baco explained.
"We are also concerned about what happened today and we are also trying to understand that today the people's demands are that the people's representatives be more populist and are indeed concerned about the situation of economic conditions and others," he added.
