Arrested By Polda Metro, Delpedro Marhaen Status Suspect

JAKARTA - Polda Metro Jaya arrested the Director of the Lokataru Foundation, Delpedro Marhaen. Currently, his status has become a suspect.

"A person who was arrested by investigators must first be named a suspect," said Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Ade Ary Syam Indradi to reporters, Tuesday, September 2.

The arrest and determination of the suspect is because Delpedro Marhaen is suspected of spreading provocative invitations or incitement on social media.

The invitation or incitement, said Ade, was not to hold demonstrations. However, it is more about carrying out anarchic actions.

However, Ade did not clearly explain the sentence of invitation from Delpedro Marhaen. It is only stated that incitement is intended or involves students.

"Allegedly carrying out provocative incitement to carry out anarchic actions by involving students including children," said Ade.

In this case, Delpedro Marhaen has been named a suspect and is suspected of under Article 160 of the Criminal Code and/or Article 45 a paragraph 3 in conjunction with Article 28 paragraph 3 of Law number 1 of 2024 concerning ITE.

And or Article 76 h junto Article 15 in conjunction with Article 87 of Law number 35 of 2014 concerning child protection.

It is known, based on information from the Lokataru Foundation, Delpedro Marhaen was arrested on Monday, September 1 at around 22:45 WIB.
