JAKARTA - Two small planes collided in the air when they both approached Fort Morgan City Airport, Colorado, USA. The two of them crashed and caught fire.
Citing ABC News, Monday, September 1, one of the accident victims involving the Cessna 172 aircraft and the Extra Flugzeugbau EA300 aircraft was declared dead and three others injured.
The Morgan County Sheriff's Office in Colorado said the incident began when the Cessna plane on its final approach to the airport was hit in the air by a second plane.
Each of the small planes carried two people.
Authorities said reports related to this accident were received by his party at around 10:44 a.m. on Sunday local time.
The FAA and the US National Transportation Safety Council (NTSB) are investigating the cause of this collision. The names of the victims have not been released because the investigation is still ongoing.
