JAKARTA - The Israeli army launched attacks on Ramallah and el-Bireh in the occupied West Bank. The Palestinian Red Crescent (PRCS) reported 24 Palestinians were injured in the attack.

Witnesses on the ground said Israeli forces stormed a currency exchange shop in the area between Ramallah and el-Bireh.
Soldiers detained three Palestinians, while Israeli snipers were on standby on the roofs of buildings as troops stormed the central vegetable market area.
A 71-year-old man and four others were also injured in the head, face, stomach, and neck from rubber-coated steel bullets.
Five other people, including two pregnant women, suffered from tear gas poisoning during the raid.
Rescue teams were prevented from reaching injured victims in the trapped area.
Xavier Abu Eid, former communications director of the Palestinian Liberation Organization (PLO), said the raid lasted several hours in an area close to three schools and markets.
"This is part of the daily life of Palestinians," Abu Eid told Al Jazeera.
