Bahlil Lahadalia Receives Honorary Sign From President, HIPMI: Evidence Young People Can Lead The Country

JAKARTA - Secretary General of the Central Board of the Indonesian Young Entrepreneurs Association (BPP HIPMI), Anggawira, expressed his appreciation for the awarding of the Certificate of Services and Honors assigned by President Prabowo Subianto to the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) as well as the General Chair of the Golkar Party, Bahlil Lahadalia.

The award was given at the state ceremony commemorating the 80th Anniversary of Indonesian Independence at the State Palace, Monday, August 25

Anggawira considered the award as a form of state recognition of Bahlil's contribution and dedication in various fields, both as state officials, politicians, and figures driving young Indonesian entrepreneurship.

According to him, the figure of Bahlil has long been an inspiration and role model for many young entrepreneurs, especially since leading HIPMI.

"As Chairman of the Honorary Council of BPP HIPMI and Chairman of HIPMI for the 2015 '2019 period, Bung Bahlil has provided a lot of inspiration and role models for young entrepreneurs. This award is not only his personal pride, but also a matter of pride for the entire HIPMI extended family," said Anggawira.

This award is clear evidence that hard work and integrity can bring a person to make a big contribution to the nation. Bahlil's journey from a HIPMI cadre to occupy a ministerial position is considered a strong motivation for the younger generation to dare to take a strategic role in national development.

This award is validation that the younger generation of Indonesia, including HIPMI cadres, is able to make a big contribution to the nation. Bung Bahlil's footprint from HIPMI to becoming a minister is an inspiration for us to continue working," he said.

Anggawira assessed that the award should be a trigger for the spirit of the younger generation of entrepreneurs to continue to innovate and work real.

The government has emphasized that it has opened up great opportunities for young people to appear as leaders, and this must be answered with courage to take responsibility.

"We at HIPMI believe that this appreciation will further strengthen the confidence of the younger generation that the future of the nation is in their hands. Bung Bahlil has proven it, now it is our turn to continue the struggle," he said.

As Secretary General of HIPMI, Anggawira emphasized that his party will continue to be a strategic partner of the government under the leadership of President Prabowo Subianto and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka. HIPMI, he said, is committed to supporting national development, creating jobs, and equitable welfare.

"The award for Bung Bahlil provides additional motivation for HIPMI to continue to play an active role in guarding the government's big agenda. We want to ensure that the vision of Indonesia Gold 2045 can really be achieved," said Anggawira.

Previously, President Prabowo Subianto conferred the Certificates and Honorary Signs of the Republic of Indonesia to 141 figures at the State Palace, Jakarta, Monday, August 25, 2025. One of the figures who received it was the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Bahlil Lahadalia.

Minister Bahlil is considered to have contributed to the energy and investment sector through mineral downstream policies, strengthening strategic investment, and developing new renewable geologies published to increase national energy independence.

The awarding of Certificates and Honors is based on the Decree of the President of the Republic of Indonesia Number Presidential Decree number 73.74.75.77.77 and 78/TK in 2025 concerning the Awarding of Honorary Signs.

"Signing honors to those whose names, positions, and professions are in the attachment to this decision as an award for their services in accordance with the provisions of special requirements as stipulated in the law," reads the quote from the Presidential Decree read by the Presidential Military Secretary.
