Pramono Will Build The First International Standard Hospital Belonging To The DKI Regional Government, 13 Floor High

JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung revealed that the DKI Provincial Government will build an international standard hospital owned by the first regional government in Jakarta. This hospital will be built in the Cakung Barat area, East Jakarta.

The international hospital will begin construction in 2026 and is targeted for completion by the end of 2027 with a source of costs from the regional budget (APBD).

"This hospital is international and this is the first time a hospital has been built in Jakarta, whose name does not use a regional hospital, but is called Royal Batavia Cakung Hospital," said Pramono in Cakung, East Jakarta, Monday, August 25.

Royal Batavia Cakung Hospital was built with an area of about 1.9 hectares, planned to have 282 treatment rooms with 13 floors and 2 basements.

This hospital building is in the form of a stage that adapts the concept of the Betawi stage house. There is also a typical Betawi geometric ornament, namely a net site that adorns the building.

"This is the first time the design of the hospital will appear in Betawi color. As soon as people arrive, the Betawi face is there. So far, there is no Betawi face in the hospital, but I'm sure this will be possible," said Pramono.

Pramono hopes that Royal Batavia Cakung Hospital can be a reference for health services for various diseases such as heart disease, cancer, diabetes mellitus, and others. In fact, Pramono wants this hospital to be a model for other local governments.

"I really ask that this becomes an international new hospital that becomes a reference for hospitals owned by local governments throughout Indonesia, not only Jakarta," added Pramono.
