PAM Jaya Speeds Up Settlement Of 43 Pipe Galiran Points In East Jakarta

JAKARTA - President Director of Perumda PAM Jaya Arief Nasrudin revealed that his party is speeding up construction work on the installation of piped drinking water pipes at 43 excavation points in East Jakarta.

Arief revealed that this piping work is an effort to improve infrastructure and equalize the supply of quality drinking water for all residents of DKI Jakarta. Thus, Arief apologized to residents whose trips were disrupted due to the excavation.

"I apologize for the inconvenience and PAM Jaya appealed to the public to use alternative routes when crossing around the project site," said Arief in his statement, Saturday, August 23.

Of the total 43 excavation points that must be carried out along Jalan Jatiwaringin (exit Pondok Gede Toll Road) Jalan Pondok Gede Raya (Tamini Square) Jl H Bokir (Hek), until now 29 points have been completed. Meanwhile, 14 points are still in the work stage in the field.

Dari 14 titik yang sedang berjalan, Arief mengungkap 4 titik berada di area park sehingga tidak mengganggu lalu lintas, 2 titik telah dilakukan pemasciran pagar pengambahan, sedangkan 8 titik sisanya dalam tahap penengungaan, tejian tekansi pipa, atau pembukaan kembali pasca penundatan teknis.

A number of project excavation points were carried out in the Pondok Gede - Jatiwaringin area (Bogor Highway, Bokir Bin Djion Hajj Street, and Pondok Gede Street East Jakarta), as well as in several other locations such as Jalan Ciputat Raya and Jalan TB Simatupang, South Jakarta.

To reduce the density of traffic flow, PAM JAYA has isolated project areas at a number of points, thereby smoothing the flow of traffic.

Similar efforts were also applied to the work point on Jalan Ciputat Raya and Jalan TB Simatupang, South Jakarta with the same goal so that traffic activities remained under control despite construction work.

"We understand that all jobs have an impact on traffic density and cause inconvenience to the community. This work is carried out to accelerate the equitable distribution of piped drinking water services that are safe and quality for all Jakarta residents. We hope that the community can support and be patient during this process," explained Arief.

From August to October 2025, PAM Jaya worked on the installation of drinking water pipes in the phase 2 Tanjung Barat Flats on Jalan Kebagusan Raya (in front of Plaza Oleos Building) to Jalan Keramat (in front of the Trakindo Building) South Jakarta.

Then from August to December 2025, PAM Jaya will work on the Pesanggrahan SPAM project on Jalan Ciputat Raya (in front of IPA Pesanggrahan/Park and Ride MRT Lebak Bulus), Jalan RA Kartini (front of Bakti Mulya & Plaza 3 Pondok Indah) to Jalan Deplu Raya (front of the Social Hub triangle - intersection of Jalan RC Veteran), South Jakarta.
