Apart From Immanuel Ebenezer, The KPK Has Also Determined 10 Suspects Of Alleged Extortion Of K3 Certificate Management

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has not only named Deputy Minister of Manpower (Wamenaker) Immanuel Ebenezer as a suspect in alleged extortion in the management of work safety and health certificates (K3) at the Ministry of Health.

In total there were 10 other people, including Irvian Bobby Mahendro as Coordinator for Institutional and Personnel Affairs K3 for 2022-2025.

"Determining 11 people as suspects," said KPK Chairman Setyo Budiyanto at a press conference at the KPK's Merah Putih building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Friday, August 22.

Setyo emphasized that the determination of dozens of suspects began with an intensive examination and had found two pieces of evidence. It is suspected that this extortion has been going on for a long time.

This allegation arose because of the large amount of evidence found, namely 15 cars and 7 motorbikes and Rp170 million and US$2,201 in cash.

The following are 11 suspects named in this case:

After being officially named as suspects, these 11 people will then languish in the KPK detention center for the first 20 days and can be extended. Detention starting August 22-10 September.

All suspects are suspected of violating Article 12 letter (e) and/or Article 12B of Law no. 31 of 1999 concerning the Eradication of Criminal Acts of Corruption as amended by Law no. 20 of 2001 in conjunction with Article 64 paragraph (1) of the Criminal Code in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph (1) of the 1st Criminal Code.
