Prabowo Invites The KPK For The Legal Process Of Wamenaker Immanuel Ebenezer Who Was Caught OTT

JAKARTA - Minister of State Secretary (Mensesneg) Prasetyo Hadi said President Prabowo Subianto had received a report and invited the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) to carry out a legal process related to the arrest operation (OTT) against the Deputy Minister of Manpower (Wamenaker) Immanuel Ebenezer.

"Mr. President has received a report and he conveyed that it is the realm of law. He respects the process at the KPK and is welcome for the legal process to be carried out properly," he told reporters, Thursday, August 21.

In fact, if later in the legal process Immanuel Ebenezer is proven to be involved in a criminal act of corruption, then Prabowo will take steps to change officials.

Later, Prabowo will consider a figure who is considered competent to fill the position as Wamenaker.

"And if it is proven later, a replacement will be carried out as soon as possible," he said.

On the other hand, Prasetyo Hadi said the government was very concerned about the existence of one member of the Red and White Cabinet who was caught by the OTT.

This is because all members of the Red and White Cabinet are always reminded by the President not to abuse their authority in their duties.

"Of course, as the President has repeatedly reminded us all that we need to continue to be careful. Our spirit is the spirit not to abuse the mandate given to all of us and therefore we express deep concern," said Prasetyo Hadi.

Previously, it was reported that the KPK held a hand arrest operation (OTT) and ensnared the Deputy Minister of Manpower (Wamenaker) Immanuel Ebenezer on Wednesday night, August 20.

It is suspected that extortion occurred related to the management of work safety and health certification (K3).
