Stuck In Traffic At TB Simatupang, Pramono Orders Cooperation With Small Projects

JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung has deployed his staff to minimize joint excavation projects on Jalan TB Simatupang, South Jakarta.

This is because Pramono admitted that he had experienced extraordinary traffic jams when crossing the road using a car without escorting the protocol as the Governor of DKI.

"I have ordered the ranks of Binamarga, the Department of Transportation, the first Satpol PP I asked to reduce it together. It's not like now there are really big ones," said Pramono at DKI Jakarta City Hall, Wednesday, August 20.

Not only that, Pramono also assessed that the implementation of the excavation construction on Jalan TB Simatupang needs to pay attention to its work equipment so that it does not further disturb pass road users.

"There are even excavators who have small tools next to them," he said.

According to him, congestion often occurs that wastes time and energy on motorized vehicles crossing TB Simatupang due to a number of government excavation projects.

"For TB Simatupang, the problem is that there is a national strategic project, PSN. It is a central government project and the complaints are prolonged," said Pramono.

Therefore, Pramono admitted that he would communicate with the central government working on the project to minimize the impact of traffic density on that route.

"I will specifically write a letter to the central government that coordinates the PSN to help Jakarta reduce congestion at TB Simatupang," said Pramono.

Furthermore, Pramono claimed that traffic on other roads had decreased the volume of congestion. Seeing this situation, he felt there was a need for special treatment to overcome the "horor" congestion at TB Simatupang.

"I have also instructed that there is no longer any Mr. Ogah in the middle of the road that regulates traffic. Everything must be the responsibility of the police, Satpol PP, Transportation Service. For that we will arrange it because that is the cause of one of them is why in TB Simatupang happened," he explained.
