Fuso Oleng Truck In Karawang, One Person Died Hit

The police from the Karawang Police Traffic Unit immediately handled a fuso truck accident that resulted in a death, on Pangkal Perjuangan Street, Karawang Regency, West Java, Tuesday, August 19.

Kasatlantas Karawang Police AKP Abdurrohman Hidayat, in Karawang, Tuesday said that after receiving information about an accident on Jalan Raya Pangkal Perjuangan, Tanjungpura Village, West Karawang District, Karawang, officers immediately came to the location to carry out the handling.

He conveyed that the vehicle that had a single accident was the Fuso truck number B-942-JO driven by Herman Pasaribu (35), a resident of Indramayu.

The accident began when the Fuso truck crossed Jalan Raya Pangkal Perjuangan from Bekasi to Cikampek. But suddenly the vehicle driven by Herman swayed while crossing the side of the highway crowded with ornamental plant traders.

At that time the vehicle swerved to the left and hit the ornamental plant trader's stall until it finally hit a tree on the side of the road.

One resident named Ahmad Rifai (63), who at the time of the incident was sweeping on the shoulder of the road, died at the scene after being hit by the Fuso truck that had been swayed.

"The victim died at the scene and the body has been evacuated to the Karawang Hospital," said Kasatlantas.

He conveyed, according to the results of the crime scene (TKP), it was suspected that the accident occurred allegedly due to the lack of concentration from the Fuso truck driver. So that the vehicle is out of control.

The police have detained the truck driver for further investigation. Likewise, the vehicle has been secured and taken to the Karawang Police Headquarters.
