Ridwan Kamil's Camp Calls DNA Test Results Completed Tomorrow

The former Governor of West Java (Jabar) camp, Ridwan Kamil, said that the results of the examination of samples related to DNA tests are likely to be completed Wednesday, August 20.

DNA examinations or tests are known to be carried out in handling cases of alleged defamation with reported Lisa Mariana.

"Yes, it looks like it will be tomorrow," said Ridwan Kamil's attorney, Muslim Butarbutar, to VOI, Tuesday, August 19.

It is possible that DNA examination results will be presented, said Muslim, because they were contacted by the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Police. During the communication, they were asked to attend the Criminal Investigation Unit.

"We were only asked to attend at 1 o'clock," he said.

Regarding Ridwan Kamil also being able to fulfill the summons or only delegate it to his attorney, Muslims have not been able to confirm it.

Because, regarding this presence, it will be communicated first and see whether there is an agenda for other activities from Ridwan Kamil.

"The important thing is that there has been a notification. We were contacted verbally to attend at 1 o'clock," said Muslim.

Regarding the results of DNA tests, Muslims do not want to make assumptions. But it was confirmed whatever the results were, Ridwan Kamil would accept.

"We don't want to make assumptions. Whatever the results are in the future, once again, we underline Mr. Ridwan Kamil to accept with all his responsibilities. I think so," said Muslim.

Meanwhile, DNA sampling was carried out at Bareskrim Polri on August 7. Not only Ridwan Kamil, Lisa Mariana and her child also underwent a series of DNA tests.

Samples taken from all three are blood and saliva. Later, the sample will be examined to see whether DNA matches exist.

Ridwan Kamil previously reported Lisa Mariana to the Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police on suspicion of defamation on April 11, 2025. The report was recorded with the number LP/B/174/IV/2025/SPKT/BARESKRIM POLRI.

He reported Lisa for alleged violations of Article 51 paragraph (1) Jo. Article 35, Article 48 paragraph (1), (2) Jo. Article 32 paragraph (1), (2), Article 45 paragraph (4) Jo. Article 27A in Law Number 1 of 2024 concerning Information and Electronic Transactions (ITE).

The investigation was handled by the Directorate of Cyber Crime (Dittipidsiber) of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Police.

This case emerged after Lisa Mariana uploaded a screenshot of a private conversation that was allegedly between herself and Ridwan Kamil on her Instagram account on March 26, 2025.

In the upload, Lisa claimed to be pregnant with the child of the former Governor of West Java.
