Harry Tanoesoedibjo's Brother Rudy Tanoesoedibjo Was Prevented From Going Abroad Regarding Corruption In The Transportation Of Social Assistance

The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has asked the Directorate General of Immigration to prevent four people from leaving the country regarding allegations of corruption in the transportation of social assistance (bansos) at the Ministry of Social Affairs. One of them is B. Rudijanto Tanoesoedibjo as President Commissioner of PT Dosni Roha Logistik who is the brother of a media entrepreneur, Harry Tanoesoedibjo.

"KPK prohibits traveling abroad for four people with the initials ES, BRT, KJT, and HER (HT)," said KPK spokesman Budi Prasetyo to reporters in a written statement, Tuesday, August 19.

From the information gathered by ES, Edy Suharto as the former Director General of Social Empowerment of the Ministry of Social Affairs and now serves as an expert staff of the Minister of Social Affairs for Changes and Social Dynamics.

Meanwhile, KJT is Kanisius Jerry Tengker who is the President Director of PT Dosni Roha Logistics for 2020-2022; and HRT is Herry Tho who is the Operational Director of PT Dosni Roha Logistics for 2021-2024. The four of them were prohibited from traveling abroad for six months.

"This prohibition letter or prevention of leaving the country has been issued since August 12, 2025, which is valid for the next six months," explained Budi.

"The KPK has taken action against traveling abroad because the existence of the person concerned in Indonesian territory is needed in the context of the investigation process of the alleged corruption crime," he continued.

In this case, the KPK has also named three people and two corporations as suspects. The corruption in the transportation of social assistance, Budi said, had cost the state hundreds of billions of losses.

"The initial calculation by investigators regarding the alleged state financial loss reached approximately Rp200 billion," he said.

Meanwhile, B. Rudijanto Tanoesoedibjo was questioned by investigators on Thursday, August 14. He was questioned as a witness and examination was carried out at the KPK's Merah Putih building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta.

However, the results of Rudi Tanoe's examination at that time were not informed by the anti-corruption commission.

Previously reported, the KPK is again investigating allegations of corruption at the Ministry of Social Affairs (Kemensos). An investigation warrant (sprindik) has been issued and the case relates to the strengthening of social assistance (bansos).

The investigation has been carried out since August. The alleged corruption that is currently being handled is the development of the alleged social assistance corruption that has been handled previously.
