KPK Provides Special Services For Prisoners On August 17

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) provides special services for detainees during the 80th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia on August 17. They can be visited by their families and relatives.

"Visits by family and relatives can be carried out from 10:00 to 12.00 WIB," said KPK spokesman Budi Prasetyo in his statement, Saturday, August 16.

Not only that, the special services provided by the KPK to corruptors are food delivery and other additional boxes.

The time given for food delivery is not much different from family visits, from 09.00 WIB to 11.00 WIB.

Budi explained that special services provided were not intended for anything, only as fulfillment of rights.

"This special service is also a form of fulfilling the basic rights of the detainees, while still in accordance with the SOP and the rules and regulations for the implementation of visits to the KPK Detention Center," said Budi.

It is known that special services are not the first time the KPK has given prisoners. The same thing is also done during or in the framework of Eid al-Fitr 2025 and other big holidays.
