President Prabowo Subianto's first speech during the Inauguration of the President and Vice President for the 2024-2029 (IST) term of service.

JAKARTA - Head of the Presidential Communication Office (PCO) Hasan Nasbi said that all presidents and vice presidents who had led Indonesia had been invited to attend President Prabowo Subianto's state speech at the DPR/MPR RI Building, Jakarta, Friday 15 August.

Thus, the 5th President of the Republic of Indonesia Megawati Soekarnoputri, the 6th President of the Republic of Indonesia Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, and the 7th President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo (Jokowi) are likely to attend the moment of President Prabowo's inaugural state speech.

Hasan hopes that the moment of the state speech can be a place for national unity and political inter-elite harmony.

"We hope that tomorrow will be a moment of national unity, national harmony, harmony of political elites. So we hope that tomorrow all presidents, all vice presidents who have ever led Indonesia, can attend the state speech," Hasan said.

Presiden Prabowo Subianto dijadwalkan menyampaikan dua pidato kesegaran pada peringatan HUT ke-80 RI, Jumat 15 Agustus, di Gedung MPR dan DPR RI, Senayan Jakarta.

The first speech is scheduled to take place at 09.00 WIB before the MPR regarding reports of government performance results that have been running for almost 300 days or almost 10 months.

The second state speech, said Hasan, will be held at 14.30 WIB before the DPR RI Plenary Meeting. The President is scheduled to deliver an introduction to the 2026 State Revenue and Expenditure Budget Draft (RAPBN).

Hasan added that according to the letter of warning for the 80th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia issued by the Minister of State Secretary on August 12, 2025, all government agencies, the private sector, and the public were advised to watch live broadcasts of the two speeches through various channels, including radio, television, YouTube, and other broadcast platforms.
