Kadispenad: Persecution Of Prada Lucky Occurs During Soldier Guidance

Head of the Information Service of the Indonesian Army (Kadispenad) Brigadier General Wahyu Yudhayana said the incident of Prada Lucky Chepril Saputra Namo's persecution occurred during the soldier's coaching period.

"I convey that all of this activity occurred basically in the implementation of coaching to soldiers," said Wahyu at the Army Headquarters, Central Jakarta, Monday, August 11.

But Wahyu has not been able to explain in detail the chronology of the violence that Lucky experienced during his coaching period.

Currently, the TNI AD is investigating the 20 suspects involved in the persecution. Later, said Wahyu, his party will determine the role of the 20 suspects based on the results of the examination.

Meanwhile, Pangdam IX/Udayana Maj. Gen. Piek Budyakto said 20 people were named suspects in a case of persecution that resulted in Prada Lucky Saputra Namo's death.

"There have been 20 people who have been named as suspects and have been detained," he said.

This was conveyed by Wahyu during a visit to Prada Lucky Namo's parents' house in the Kuanino army dormitory, Kupang City

He said of the 20 suspects, one of them was an officer who was suspected of being involved in the persecution, so Prada Lucky died.

Currently, the investigation process is still ongoing involving the Military Police Detachment (Denpom) and the Udayana Military Command to uncover the case.

"This incident, I regret it and I as Pangdam IX/Udayana as well as direct superiors, in this unit for this incident I will carry out my duties in accordance with the applicable mechanisms and procedures," he continued.

The Military Commander also said that the development of the case would also immediately be conveyed to the direct leadership at the TNI Headquarters, because it had been ordered to handle the case completely.
