Head Of Bappis Claims All Out Government, Saturday-Sunday Still Working

JAKARTA - Head of the Special Development and Investigation Control Agency (Bappisus) Aries Marsudiyanto said that President Prabowo Subianto's government is total (all out) for the nation and state so that many ministers work on Saturdays and Sundays, although generally people are on vacation on weekends.

Aries also asked the public to directly check the activities of the ministers and members of the Red and White Cabinet on weekends.

"Essentially, we ask for his blessing to all Indonesian people, yes. The government works on Saturday, Sunday we work. You can check on all of us, it's all out for 24 hours too. Everything, yes. We are united," said Aries Marsudiyanto in response to reporters' questions when he was met after meeting President Prabowo Subianto at the Presidential Palace, Jakarta, Monday, August 11, reported by ANTARA.

Aries went before President Prabowo at the Presidential Palace, with the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Bahlil Lahadalia. Despite Bahlil, Aries denied that there was a discussion about politics in a limited meeting between him, Bahlil, and President Prabowo.

"We are just evaluating on the construction. Currently, the right track is all, we just need to push everything. We will monitor it, don't let there be leaks, yes, corruption," said Aries.

In the meeting, Aries said that President Prabowo gave many instructions to himself and other ministers. The President also emphasized several achievements that need to be maintained.

"Father, he gave us a lot of instructions, and to this day all developments at the ministry level are all in good condition, and yesterday it was also announced at BPS, at Cabinet meetings, our economic growth is 5.12 percent, and in the future all programs will run well. God willing, everything will run smoothly, and according to the target as we expected," said Aries.

President Prabowo immediately held a limited meeting with several of his ministers Monday afternoon after receiving a state visit from Peru President Dina Ercilia Bouarte Zegarra in the morning until noon. Bouarte became the first Peruvian President to visit Indonesia since two countries established diplomatic relations 50 years ago, to be precise on August 12, 1975.

During the state visit, President Prabowo and President Bouarte held a bilateral meeting, and witnessed the signing of the Indonesia-Peru comprehensive economic cooperation agreement (CEPA) document.
