NasDem National Working Meeting Expected To Bring Economic Blessings In South Sulawesi

JAKARTA - Governor of South Sulawesi (Sulsel) Andi Sudirman Sulaiman said the holding of the NasDem Party I National Working Meeting (Rakernas) in Makassar brought economic blessings to this area.

Andi Sudirman hopes that thousands of National Working Meeting participants from all over the archipelago can enjoy the beauty and hospitality of Makassar City.

"The visit of thousands of cadres throughout Indonesia can provide economic movement, especially hotels, tours, culinary delights, MSMEs and others for local residents," he said.

Governor Andi Sudirman expressed his pride in the election of Makassar as the host of the NasDem National Working Meeting.

He hopes that South Sulawesi will not only become the center of this National Working Meeting, but also become the center of various national activities, given its strategic geographical location in eastern and central regions of Indonesia.

"We appreciate NasDem's commitment to South Sulawesi in supporting the government for regional development. Congratulations on carrying out the National Working Meeting, hopefully this activity can produce programs that can advance the Nation," he said.

Deputy Chairperson of the NasDem National Working Meeting Committee Andi Rachmatika Dewi said as many as 3,000 rooms out of 17 hotels in Makassar were ready. For the participant's transportation, 150 vehicles were also prepared for both pick-up at the airport and other necessities.

The chairman of the DPD NasDem Makassar City said that apart from the thousands of participants who attended the first National Working Meeting arena outside Java, the committee also provided food and special souvenirs from South Sulawesi prepared by a number of MSME actors around the Claro Hotel, where the National Working Meeting was held.

"This activity will make a lot of positive contributions, not only increasing the tourism sector but also growing our economy in Makassar," he also said.
