Metro Police Chief Denies Issues Of Anger At The National Police Chief For Canceling Being Kabareskrim

JAKARTA - Metro Jaya Police Chief Inspector General Karyoto denied the rumors that he had refused to be transferred as Head of the Security Maintenance Agency (Kabaharkam) and was angry with the National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo.

Kabar tersebut diketahui muncul di media sosial X pada unggahan akun @MurtadhaOne1.

"So it's very hoax and the story is not true," said Karyoto, Friday, August 9.

According to him, the narrative is not true and was deliberately created or disseminated by the account for certain purposes.

"That's the same account, it's an anonymous account and an account that was deliberately blown to make news like that," he said.

Karyoto reiterated that he had no rejection of the mutation as Kabaharkam which had been determined by the National Police Chief with certain considerations.

"Nothing, absolutely nothing," he said.

In fact, Karyoto also said that he had a good relationship with the National Police Chief. All decisions at the helm of the National Police will always be supported.

"My relationship with the National Police Chief is very good. He really loves me, and I really respect him. If anything happens, I will definitely tell him," said Karyoto.

Meanwhile, in the upload of the account, Inspector General Karyoto was said to be angry with the National Police Chief for canceling his position as Kabareskrim.

"BAHAL BECAME KABARESKRIM, GENERAL BINTANG DUA 'NGAMUK' AT THE NATIONAL POLICE CHIEF'S OFFICE: WHAT'S BEHIND THE PROMISE AND AMARAH?", reads THE narration.
