Silfester Matutina Proposes PK Amid The Spotlight Not To Be Executed

JAKARTA - General Chairperson of the Red and White Solidarity, Silfester Matutina submitted a request for a judicial review (PK) related to cases of slander against the 10th and 12th Vice Presidents of the Republic of Indonesia, Jusuf Kalla.

The PK application has also been registered with the South Jakarta District Court.

"That's right, they have registered with the PK," said Public Relations of the South Jakarta District Court, Rio Barten to VOI, Friday, August 8.

However, it has not been conveyed in detail regarding the PK application, such as the registration time or the implementation of the inaugural trial.

Based on the information obtained, the first trial of PK Silfester Matutina will be held on August 20, 2025. This PK submission was made during the busy spotlight of Silfester Matutina. This is because the South Jakarta District Attorney has not carried out any executions of detention.

In fact, referring to the official website of the Supreme Court (MA), Silfester Matina was sentenced to 1 year and 6 months for a general criminal case in 2019. The verdict has permanent legal force or inkrah.

The Head of the Attorney General's Office, Anang Supriatna, who was questioned regarding the process of execution of detention, said that the South Jakarta District Attorney would carry out it. However, it was not conveyed in detail about the time for the execution. It is only mentioned that it will be carried out as soon as possible.

"Regarding the Silfester, this case has been submitted and is under the authority of the South Jakarta District Attorney as the executor prosecutor," said Anang.
